Hospice of Wichita Falls offers many support services to the families and communities we serve. Our support team consists of Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Chaplains, and Bereavement staff.
Social Workers provide support to alleviate emotional and social stress. They offer expertise in community resources for patients, caregivers, and community members. They will assist with advance directives, medical power of attorney, and other end-of-life planning. Social Workers also provide bereavement support up to a year for caregivers and families following the death of a patient.
Hospice of Wichita Falls chaplains offer non-denominational spiritual support for patients and families. They are available to coordinate the spiritual care for patients who are unable to attend their place of worship. Chaplains also provide family and significant others with grief and bereavement counseling.
