About The Campaign

For the past 40 years, Hospice of Wichita Falls has been the only nonprofit, free-standing hospice program in the area, providing exceptional service 24/7. The Wichita Falls community has supported us in fulfilling our mission of “Care, Hope, and Support for All when Illness Threatens Life” through their continued generosity, which has enabled us to provide services to anyone in need of hospice care, regardless of their ability to pay.

An acknowledgment card from Hospice of Wichita Falls will let the honoree or designated family member know of your thoughtful gift (amounts are never revealed).

Donations to Hospice of Wichita Falls are tax-deductible in accordance with current IRS tax regulations and will be acknowledged appropriately by Hospice of Wichita Falls. Hospice of Wichita Falls provides no goods or services in consideration of contributions.

Experience The Magic

During the annual Tree of Lights campaign, the community has the opportunity to light a light on the tree in honor or memory of a loved one. This makes the tree a sentimental favorite of our board of directors, staff, and the community alike. In 2023, Hospice of Wichita Falls provided $753,000 in charity care, and the Tree of Lights campaign helped make this possible.

Each year, our tree shines from on top of the Southwest building on Kemp Boulevard (next to Target) in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Illuminate a special light on the tree to honor or remember a loved one. Every light on our tree honors a cherished life and brightens the journey for others. Together, we shine a light on love, memories, and hope.

Radio Day & Star Lighting

Help Us Reach Our Goal

We will light the tree on November 18, but the star will shine again on December 12, only if we reach our goal of $340,000. Tune into 102.3 The Bull from 7 AM to 5 PM on December 12 to follow our progress and hear community stories about hospice care. If we meet our goal, join us at the Southwest Building at 6 PM for the star lighting, which will be broadcast live on KAUZ and KFDX.

Returning for the second year, the school group that raises the most funds per capita among its campus population will have the opportunity to light the Tree of Lights star on Friday, December 12, live on the 6 pm news with our HOWF Executive Director, Alisa Echols!
